Explore the Ourika Valley excursion from Marrakech will be a 1-day trip. After breakfast, we will depart from Marrakech and begin our journey toward the Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we will enjoy the magnificent and colorful landscapes that surround us. After a one-hour drive, we will arrive in Setti Fatma, where we will be greeted by towering cliffs and beautiful valleys as far as the eye can see, as well as the refreshing waters of the seven waterfalls.
Upon arriving in Ourika, we will have time to take a guided walk to one of the waterfalls before choosing a riverside spot for a traditional lunch, surrounded by a variety of aromas, sounds, and breathtaking views. After lunch, there will be time to relax in this peaceful environment and explore the Berber market before returning to Marrakech in the late afternoon.

The Ourika Valley excursion is one of the most fantastic valleys located in the heart of the country’s mountains. It is home to small Berber villages surrounded by mountains and waterfalls, creating rocky landscapes that rival the magnificence of the desert. Together, they form a harmonious yet wild vision at the edge of the Western Atlas.
The tour from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains begins with a visit to the Berber souk, followed by a stop at the Botanical Garden and a visit to a local Berber home, where you can savor traditional bread alongside Moroccan tea.
Later, upon arriving in Setti Fatma, tourists can choose to be accompanied by a local guide if they wish. The guide will lead you to the waterfalls nestled within the mountains. For lunch, there is the option of dining at a local restaurant with a stunning view of the river, where you can enjoy authentic Moroccan cuisine. In the late afternoon, around 5:00 PM, you will return to Marrakech.
This Ourika Valley excursion can be done as a half-day trip if you choose not to visit the waterfalls. However, a full day is required to explore the waterfalls. The souks are open every Monday, Thursday, and Friday. And finally, this marks the end of the Ourika Valley excursion.
