1st Day: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Valley of the Roses - Dades Valley
The route from Marrakech ascends the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains. While traveling from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, you will be treated to the stunning scenic roads, which offer spectacular views along with a variety of colors and traditional Berber villages. You will have the chance to explore the intriguing history of Ait Ben Haddou before arriving in Ouarzazate, where you can tour the well-known “Kasbah Taourirt.”
Following this, we’ll drive through the lush valley southeast of the Dades and the Valley of the Roses, along with a passage through the enchanting Palmery Skoura. We will arrive in Dades Valley for an overnight stay
2nd Day: Dades Valley - Todra - Erfoud - Merzouga Sahara
Start your day with breakfast before setting off from the Dades Valley towards Merzouga desert. Travel towards Tinghir and the Todra gorges. After exploring the gorges, continue your journey to Tinjdad, Erfoud, and the Palm Grove, where you’ll have some leisure time for lunch before proceeding to Touroug. Following the 3 day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes, we will then head towards the breathtaking dunes of Merzouga and Erg Chebbi. Upon arrival in Merzouga, get ready for a camel ride in the dunes to reach your desert camp for the night. Enjoy the stunning views of the Sahara and spend the night under the stars
3rd Day: Merzouga – Medalt – Ifrane – Fez
You can wake up early to witness the dawn over the expansive dunes. At the campsite, you’ll have an opportunity to shower and enjoy breakfast, after which we will proceed with our 3 day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes, traveling north through the Tafilalet palm grove toward the Ziz Valley.
We continue this journey from Marrakech to Fes, taking a moment to admire the stunning views of the valley alongside the locals from Aoufous. Next, we make our way to Midelt, a remarkable town situated at an altitude of 1488 meters, where we will take a break to relax and have a meal. In the afternoon, we continue our drive through Ifrane, often referred to as “Morocco’s Switzerland.” Upon reaching Fes, you’ll be dropped off at your accommodation, marking the conclusion of the 3 day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes.
