After breakfast, our day trip from Marrakech to the Kik Plateau begins in 4×4 vehicles heading toward the Berber village of Tahnaout through the mountains known as the “Asni Gorges.” Our first stop is to visit traditional wheat mills, followed by a break to enjoy a refreshing mint tea in the village of Tagount. This village is located on a pleasant esplanade with views of the neighboring villages. Continuing the journey, we arrive at the sacred city of Moulay Brahim, perched on a rocky ridge.
This tour will take dreamers and adventurers to discover the Atlas Mountains amidst stunning and unusual landscapes. From the Kik Plateau, you can admire the vastness of the Lalla Takerkoust Dam.
Lunch will feature grilled meat, similar to a “barbecue,” served in the shade of Moroccan-style nomadic tents.
In the mid-afternoon, we head back to Marrakech, marking the end of our day Trip from Marrakech to the Kik Plateau.
